For pilots
One instructor, first lesson to checkride.
Training out of the Texas Hill Country, in your aircraft or a rental. Lessons are scheduled in blocks so progress compounds instead of resetting, and every student knows exactly what the next three flights cover.

How training runs
- 01
Intro flight
An honest hour in the airplane and a plain conversation about time, money, and what the certificate really takes.
- 02
A written plan
A lesson-by-lesson syllabus with target dates, so you can see the checkride on a calendar instead of hoping for it.
- 03
Checkride ready
Mock oral and mock flight before the examiner sees you, with clear feedback on what is ready and what still needs work.
Reviews
What students say
From pilots who trained, finished up, or prepped for a checkride with Nick.
Nick's flight review was very thorough and professional. His style is low key...no drama. We had a great flight and I will definitely use him again.
Earned Instrument Rating
I did my private pilot training with Nick, and I'd hand him to anyone starting out. He's positive and easy to be around, but he's looking out for you the whole time. The moment he sees a problem, he calls it out, right there in the air. He's laid-back, but never about the flying; procedures matter to him and he holds the line on them. What stood out most is that he isn't just building hours. He genuinely wants his students to succeed, and you can tell that's what he's teaching toward. I've recommended him to a number of my own clients, and I'll keep doing it. He's also just an awesome guy to fly with.
